The development of self-worth, self-confidence, and self-regulation has their roots in early childhood and are essential for later success in school and life. This success relies largely on the emotional health of the caregiver(s) and is a result of a secure attachment, bonding, and trusting relationships.

The foundation of our 0-5 Services program is interventions that focus on strengthening the child/caregiver dyad and promoting positive attachment and parenting skills. A multidisciplinary team approach is used, including team members well trained in the areas of trauma, developmental issues, parenting, attachment, childhood disorders, and Dyadic Therapy. Dyadic Therapy is an approach used with babies, toddlers, young children and their mothers (or caregiver) for the purpose of strengthening or repairing the parent/child bond in order to rebuild a healthy relationship.

Our team consists of Master's and Ph.D. level mental health professionals with experience and specialized training in areas such as: Maternal Health, Infant Mental Health, Touch Points, Play Therapy, and Early Childhood Social-Emotional Wellness. Our entire team is trained and accredited in the Triple P (Positive Parenting Program) model, an internationally acclaimed system of parenting interventions that research has shown works. As a part of the Children's Services Council of Palm Beach County's Healthy Beginnings Program, our Infant Mental Health Team works with other partner organizations in the system to ensure a seamless array of services for infants, toddlers, young children and their families.
