Case Managers Working to Help
CPG’s Families this Holiday Season…
by Tracy Speranza, Director of Targeted Case Management
Parent-Child Center’s Targeted Case Management staff has teamed up with New Horizons Elementary School and Park Vista High School in order to help Community Partnership Group’s children and families with food for the holiday season. Both schools have been very generous with food donations to assist our families. The first pick up date for food was 11/16/09 and the donations were generous. The Case Management team is also assisting our families by linking them to a free community event called FEED THE COMMUNITY, which was held on Thanksgiving Day, November 26th, 2009 from 11am-4pm at 718 3rd Street in West Palm Beach. Case Management has also been successful linking our families to the United Way Project Thanksgiving Program, in which United Way is donating gift cards to our families to assist with turkeys for Thanksgiving.
In addition, we were very blessed to have Jupiter First Church assisting us with Christmas presents for our clients. The Secret Shepherd Program is donating presents to 150 of our children and their families. Many thanks to Jupiter First Church for donating your time and resources! You all have such big hearts!
